Alessia Cara, Charlie Puth, Daya & More Make 2017 “Forbes'” 30 Under 30 List

ABC/Matt BrownSome say youth is wasted on the young, but success certainly doesn’t seem to be. Alessia Cara, Charlie Puth, Daya and Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers are among the artists included on Forbes’ “2017 30 Under 30” music list.

Daya is the youngest on the ranking, at age 18. She had a milestone year with the release of her debut album and the hit “Don’t Let Me Down,” her collab with fellow list-maker Drew Taggart’s The Chainsmokers.

Forbes cites Alessia’s breakout hit “Here” and her gold-certified debut album, Know-It-All, as reasons the 20-year-old made the list. And according to Forbes, 25-year-old Charlie proved he’s worthy of the ranking following the success of “See You Again” featuring Wiz Khalifa.

Other artists featured on the list include Troye Sivan, Twenty One Pilots, G-Eazy and Desiigner.

Two “30 Under 30” alums, Jason Derulo and Halsey, helped select the finalists.
