Avril Lavigne Promises New Album in 2017

In a message on Twitter, Avril thanked her fans for being patient and supportive throughout her two-year battle with Lyme disease. She added that her struggle will be reflected in her music.

“I’m really happy to announce that I am now working on new music and I will be releasing a new album in 2017,” Avril wrote. “I can’t wait to open up and share my heart with you! I’m excited for you guys to hear the new songs.”

She concluded, “It’s going to be an amazing 2017!”

Avril’s last album, Avril Lavigne, came out in 2013.
