Diplo to Perform at “Rolling Stone’s” Pre-Super Bowl Bash
Alexei HayesDiplo is getting in on the Super Bowl festivities this year. The DJ/producer will be headlining a pre-game bash dubbed Rolling Stone Live.
The private event will take place February 4 at the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Texas. It will also feature a performance by hip-hop legend Nas.
“I have been an avid Rolling Stone reader for as long I can remember and I’m excited to head to Houston to headline Rolling Stone Live and kick off their 50th anniversary year-long celebration with this party,” Diplo tells the mag. Rolling Stone’s official 50th anniversary comes in November of 2017.
Super Bowl 51, featuring a halftime show by Lady Gaga, airs February 5 on Fox.
A week later on February 12, Diplo will be up for two awards at the 59th Annual Grammys. He’s nominated in the Album of the Year category for his work as a producer on Beyonce’s Lemonade and Justin Bieber’s Purpose.
