Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui Arrested for Pot Possession

Gett Images via ABCIn the future, Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Juregui may want to smoke from home.

The singer was arrested at Washington, D.C.’s Dulles International Airport for possession of marijuana and released on a summons, ABC News confirms.

Fifth Harmony is set to perform in Brazil tonight, and their performance will be streamed on Vevo.

Lauren made headlines last month for posting a lengthy open letter to Donald Trump supporters in which she wrote, “I am a bisexual Cuban-American woman and I am so proud of it,” confirming online rumors about her sexuality.”   About a week later, she posted about the death of Cuban leader Fidel Castro, writing in Spanish, in reference to Castro, “The cockroach is dead!  What joy!”

Lauren has been posting about the refugee crisis in Aleppo in the last few days.  She also released a single called “Back to Me,” a collaboration with electronic pop duo Marian Hill.
