First Look at Harry Styles’ Acting Debut in New Trailer for “Dunkirk”

ABC/Phil McCartenHarry Styles has kept busy during his One Direction hiatus, and now we’ve got the first glimpse of what he’s been working on. The first full trailer for his movie debut, Dunkirk, has been released.

The Christopher Nolan World War II flick centers on the massive military evacuation of British soldiers from the French city of Dunkirk in 1940. Harry, who infamously cut off his long locks for the role, plays one of those soldiers. The trailer shows him sitting with his comrades on the beach and dodging enemy attacks in the water.

Harry stars alongside Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh and Cillian Murphy in the film. Dunkirk hits theaters on July 21.
