Joe Jonas says he’d be down for an “adult” “Camp Rock” sequel
Jim Spellman/WireImageLast month, Joe Jonas posted a photo of himself and his ex-girlfriend Demi Lovato with the caption “CR3?” It was a reference to the 2008 Disney channel movie Camp Rock, in which they both starred. The movie had a 2010 sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, and Joe says he’d be down to do a third…if it was a more “adult” movie.
Speaking to Marie Claire, Joe says he, Demi and his brother Nick Jonas, who also starred in the original, would be interested in returning to Camp Rock, “if it made sense, sure.” “It would be funny to do a spin on it,” adds the DNCE frontman. “Do the graduating days, make it kinda dark. An adult film. Well, not an adult film. An R-rated film. We’ve joked around about the idea a couple times.”
Joe also talks to Marie Claire about how he and Nick try to out-do each other when they go to the gym together.
“It’s really funny to see. That’s where we get competitive,” says Joe, who got totally ripped to star in a Guess underwear ad. “Nick can put up a lot of weight, he’s got massive shoulders. But we don’t want to look like each other. I want to be a little bit smaller, Nick is always carrying invisible suitcases around.”
