Justin Timberlake reveals who he thinks had the “real” Album of the Year — and it’s not Adele

ABC/Tyler GoldenJustin Timberlake was particularly chatty on Twitter yesterday. The singer confessed that he doesn’t think Adele should have won the Grammy for Album of the Year and he also confirmed that his new album is, indeed, coming.

It all started with a tweet praising the new collaboration between Calvin Harris, Frank Ocean and Migos called “Slide.” Justin added, “While I’m at it… Frank Ocean had the REAL Album Of The Year with BLONDE. #NotFakeNews.”

Frank’s album wasn’t even nominated for the Grammy this year. The singer opted not to submit the album for consideration. And to be fair, not even Adele thought she deserved Album of the Year. She wanted the honor to go to Beyonce for Lemonade.

In response to J.T.’s tweets, a fan wrote, “while I’M AT IT, i’m gonna need an album soon because i’m getting tired of letting the 20/20 experience play. i need some new JT!!”

Justin replied, “On the way…”
