Katy Perry Teases New Music on Instagram; Sings Karaoke with Pals
Photo by Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagicKaty Perry has some new music in the works and we got our first taste of it on Instagram this weekend. The singer posted two video clips to Instagram Stories featuring snippets of new tracks.
In the first clip, Katy shows off some goofy studio antics as a song plays in the background. “I drew on my tooth with a sharpie for fun and now it won’t come off,” she wrote. As she shows off her blackened tooth, the lyrics “don’t be scared to…” are heard over an electronic beat.
And in a second clip, instruments and background vocals for a song — possibly a different one — can be heard. “OMG INSTRUMENTS!” Katy wrote.
Katy also made another memorable social media appearance this weekend. She posted Snapchat videos from her friend, actress Shannon Woodward’s, karaoke birthday party. Katy, along with boyfriend Orlando Bloom and the other party guests, is seen belting out Avril Lavigne’s hit “Complicated.”
She captioned the video, “This is what the holidays looks like.”
