Lorde Announces Second Festival Appearance of 2017

Governors Ball Music FestivalThe new year just started, but Lorde is already lining up her spring and summer plans.

After announcing she’d be performing at the Coachella festival in April, the singer has also confirmed she’ll be taking the stage at New York City’s Governors Ball in June. This can only mean one thing: new music is coming.

“I can’t wait for this summer,” Lorde tweeted, along with the rest of the festival’s lineup. Late last year, the singer told fans she was finishing up her new album, but didn’t provide any details.

Lorde will be joined at Governors Ball by Tove Lo, Charli XCX, Wiz Khalifa, Rae Sremmurd and Mark Ronson — among many others.

The three-day festival will take place from Friday, June 2 to Sunday June 4. Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 6, at 12 p.m. ET on GovBall.com.

Unless Lorde lines up any more shows before her first Coachella appearance on April 16, that set will mark her first full performance in three years.
