Madonna’s New Skin Care Line Is Something She’d “Actually Use”

Photo by Kevin Winter/Getty Images via ABCEarlier this year, Madonna unveiled her new skin care line, MDNA Skin, to the Japanese market. Now it looks like fans in the rest of the world may be getting it as well.

Madonna just tweeted a video captioned, “Here’s the 411 on my skincare line !”   In the accompanying video, the Queen of Pop, who already has her own branded clothing line, perfume and other products, explains why she wanted to get into this particular line of business.

“I’ve always had this weird thing about skin care products,” she reveals. “For my entire career, people have given me skin care products that I haven’t liked.  Moisturizers that are too greasy, facial cleansers that dry out my skin too much, serums that, when I put them on my face, I can’t put makeup on afterwards.”

She adds, “So I decided that I wanted to develop a skin care line that I would actually use.”

Madonna invites her fans to follow @MDNASkin, but the feed is currently entirely in Japanese.  Stay tuned.
