Nick & Joe Jonas to Appear in Food Network Special “Jonas Restaurant: Family Style”

Courtesy Food NetworkWith his band DNCE, Joe Jonas has spent the past year singing about “Cake by the Ocean,” while his brother Nick‘s most recent single was “Bacon.”  But now, the brothers will stop singing about food and actually help serve some…on a Food Network special later this month.

Nick and Joe will join their brothers Kevin and Frankie for Jonas Restaurant: Family Style, a special which follows the their parents, Kevin Sr. and Denise, as they fulfill their dream of opening a restaurant in Belmont, North Carolina.

The restaurant, Nellie’s Southern Kitchen, is a tribute to Mr. Jonas’ grandmother Nellie, who was evidently the picture of Southern hospitality.  In the special, the family has seven days to build the restaurant, hire and train the staff and test the recipes.  All the brothers pitch in to help, and — spoiler alert — they get the job done. In fact, DNCE and Joe even perform at the eatery to mark the occasion.

Jonas Restaurant: Family Style airs December 26 on the Food Network at 7 p.m. ET/PT.
