Pink’s Husband Says They Don’t Know Sex of New Baby but “It’s Going to Be Really Fun”

Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagicPink received two Grammy nominations on Tuesday, one for her duet with country star Kenny Chesney, “Setting the World on Fire,” and one for “Just Like Fire,” her song from Alice Through the Looking Glass. But she’ll have something else to celebrate very soon: the birth of her second child. Pink is extremely pregnant, though her husband Carey Hart tells People magazine that the couple still doesn’t know the baby’s sex.

The couple also kept their daughter Willow‘s sex a surprise when she was born five years ago. This time, though, Carey is hoping for a boy. “We got one princess, so hopefully we’ll have a little guy coming,” he tells People. “I don’t want any competition for my daughter. I’m nervous for what it’s going to be.” Of course, he adds, “I just want a healthy baby. That’s all I care about.”

“It’s been a while since we’ve had a baby around the house,” Carey notes “It’s going to be really fun.” He says Willow is also excited about the new arrival, though she’s hoping for a baby sister.

Since Pink can’t fly due to her pregnancy, the couple will spend Christmas at home, reveals Carey.

“Typically, we’ll travel to see my wife’s family. It’s nice just to be able to stay home this year,” he says. “This is probably going to be the last calm Christmas for a while due to more kids and career and travel and all that stuff, so we’re just going to try to enjoy it and be nice and quiet.”
