Selena Gomez Dominates Instagram’s Year in Review
Image Group LA/ABCEven though she took time off from social media this year to focus on her health, Selena Gomez still managed to dominate Instagram’s year in review.
In addition to being the most followed person on Instagram — which we already knew — she has eight out of 10 of the most-liked posts on the photo-sharing app this year. Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo managed to sneak in with the other two.
Her most-liked pic? A portrait of her sipping a Coca-Cola bottle adorned with her song lyrics. That has racked up 5.9 million likes so far.
Selena also claims the number one spot on a list of celebrities who gained the most followers in 2016. She acquired more than 50 million followers, bringing her grand total to 103 million.
Meanwhile, her BFF Taylor Swift is the second most-followed celebrity on Instagram this year, followed by Ariana Grande at number three.
