Steve Carell and Kristin Wiig Face a New Villain in “Despicable Me 3” Trailer

Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures(NEW YORK) — The Minions are back, along with Gru, Lucy and the girls — Margo, Edith and Agnes — and they’re facing their toughest enemy to date.

In the new trailer for Despicable Me 3, Steve Carell returns as the voice of super-villain Gru who, along with Kristin Wiig’s Lucy, take on a 1980s-obsessed villain named Balthazar Bratt — voiced by South Park‘s Trey Parker.

Other voices include iCarly‘s Miranda Cosgrove and comedian Russell Brand. Original Despicable Me co-director Pierre Coffin and Minions director Kyle Balda are also back on board, with Eric Guillon co-directing.

Despicable Me 3 is set to hit theaters in June 2017.
