Taylor Swift Remembers Her Country Roots to Help East Tennessee

Taylor’s giving $100,000 to help rebuild Sevier [seh-VEER] County, Tennessee, after the raging wildfires that devastated the area. The Academy of Country Music will match Taylor’s gift, giving another $100,000 to the effort.
A portion of Taylor’s Gift will go to Dolly Parton’s My People Fund. The country music legend was born and raised in Sevier County, and is also staging a Smoky Mountains Rise Telethon that will air Tuesday on Great American Country, AXS TV, RFD and Heartland, starting at 8 p.m. ET.
